In addition to bobwhite quail, we offer opportunities for pheasant and chukar hunting. These hunts take place on private land just outside of Montevallo, AL, ensuring a premium hunting experience.
Expert Guide and Pristine Habitat
Our quail guide, Dale, has a lifelong passion in conservation management and has meticulously crafted an upland game preserve with pristine quail habitat by working closely with biologists from Quail Unlimited. Unlike typical preserves, Dale’s land is managed specifically for quail, creating an authentic “old school” hunting experience. The preserve features a diverse mix of hardwoods, clearcuts, and open grasslands, providing the best possible environment for a healthy quail population.
Exceptional Hunting Dogs and Game Processing
Dale brings years of personal experience and formal education to train and run his own dogs, ensuring they are well-suited to the unique opportunities and challenges of the land. After each hunt, Dale will clean the game harvested, so don’t forget to bring a cooler.
