Spring Break Fishing Report

As the waters warm up off the shore, the saltwater fishing world comes alive. The bottom fishing in the winter months for amberjack and triggerfish is expected to come much closer to the shore. This is due to the mackerel and cobia starting to swim through. A 4 to 6-hour trolling trip will be a great way for spring breakers to spend a day on the Gulf Waters in March. However, here are some other things to note during this months fishing report.

Cobia Heats Up In March

Not typically in full force, Cobia along the Alabama beaches until later on in March & April, that isn’t the case for Destin and Panama City Beach. However, cobia is expected to make an appearance earlier on in those certain geographical areas.
