Fishing Report -June 2020

June OFFSHORE

The summer heat is official here and here to stay until August! The seagrass is still as well so get out there and search for those grass lines. You’re likely to find some big boys hanging around them. Orange Beach Alabama is the red snapper fishing capital of the world. The extensive reef system just off the Alabama coast is a major contributing factor to our Red Snapper numbers. In addition to the Red Snapper your Kings, Blackfin Tuna, and Vermillion can all be found within the state waters of Alabama. Stay Hydrated. It’s hot and all those going Reds Snapper fishing are in for a fight.

June INSHORE

With a 2 Red Snapper limit per man you may limit out early, so taking advantage of the opportunity along the beach for Redfish, Trout, and Pompano may be on the agenda as well on mist Red Snapper Trips. Be on the lookout for sharks as they are very active during the hottest months of the year. If you don’t want to take on the heat, then take a dock lights trip in to evening or Saltwater Bowfishing Trip. Your sure to beat the heat on these trips and it’s a unique way to see the back bays.
